Over 2 Million Containers, 2,000 Routes

My first ever commercial project, this was a tightly-sequenced music video that captured the complexity of the intermodal network in an orchestrated audio/visual composition.

I was commissioned by General Electric (GE) to direct and produce the music and teamed up with director Noah Conopask to make the video.

My initial visual inspirations for this piece were, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Koyaanisqatsi, Ridley Scott’s Alien and Star Guitar by the Chemical Brothers.

Since it was so musically-driven, the visual had to follow the direction of the music, so I was involved from initial concept right up to final delivery, creating initial musical ideas, and directing the editing to the music.
