Road & Track asked me to capture the spirit of a legend and its rebirth – the Ford Bronco.

I spent a day in the Mojave Desert with the Bronco, chasing light and getting deliberately lost. I wanted to photograph it where it belongs: in raw, unfamiliar terrain, crawling over strange rock formations and moving through open silence.

Even though it’s a new take on a classic, I tried to show how its design still holds onto its roots, a vehicle made for real adventure. With the roof and doors off, you can almost smell the sagebrush and feel the grit in the air as it charges into the dusk.
